think its time to add a list of parts you need to do to make it race ready, besides out of the box racing. how to clean, store, prep, things that will break when you land on the back, top, front end crashes, what happens when someone jumps a lane hits you head on with a truggy, things you need to fix any thing that goes wrong so you can stay and play. A new car 1. another new car for parts. 400 for a speed control motor, also a back up speed control and motor 400. a good servo 125,. a back up.,. another 125 extra shocks, two radios in case you drop yours off the tower rubbing elbows with other drivers on the tower. a glitch buster or 2 maybe a extra receiver just in case your case breaks. two chargers in case your gets over loaded and burns out at least 4 batteries shock towers, 20 different set of tires. extra bolts and nuts. a painted body just in case. an extra lap counter. a big enough dog to turn your car over at the track so you don't have to go up and down the stairs on the tower LOL turnbuckles, rod ends, shock oil's 10 through 80. grease, cleaners, rags, bearings, tools, a good divorce lawyer, accountant, work light, glue, tape. velcro, paint, two jobs, to pay for it all. 5 min of racing priceless. if I forgot any thing please feel free to chime in and help.. Thanks have a great race day I do.... LOL

Hey guys. Looking to see what people are running on their short course trucks. What do you guys run on your Ten-SCTEs and why? Anything that you would like to see improved?

Put the truck on the floor and give it a push, it should roll freely.
I think it is due to the presence of 4 poles instead of 2?

He is not running a 4 pole motor, he is running a SC4X which is a 2 pole.

after a lil research it is definetly because of the magnets. the sc4x motors are however a 3 pole motor not 2 or 4 pole.

Thanks for the set up sheet Losi B.XXXDAD.I usually run 5-5-3.What affect does running the lighter dif fluid do the rear?I just changed the dif fluid on my truck and accidently put in 30000 .I must have bought it by mistake.Luckily I had 3000 also and changed it immediately.I have another question. When running sensored motors, and you change motors, say Tekin SC4X to a Tekin 4-pole,can you use the same sensor wire,or are they different? Thanks

I love the Orion R10 Pro, just ordered another for when the 22T comes out. I been running it for the past two weeks and the hottest its gotten was 100 on a full battery with a tekin pro 4 4000kv 15t pinion and motor temp was 130. Had a friend of mine make adjustments with the programmer (not sure what he did) but its way faster. Just waiting for vipers sensored motor. BAG on me if you want tekin fan boys
