From what I've heard, Big Bores are not needed at all on this truck - i have no experience with them though.

On a side note , got to see the new Mini 8ight buggy run on an indoor track at my LHS and the driver was putting down lap times very close too the 4wd mod buggy times ! and it held up too some pretty big hits as well . Looks like a home run for Losi on this one !

So , my question is ....... How long till the Mini Ten SCTE comes out !!!!!!!!!!
they make a 1/32 scale scte i have it jumps the gutters pretty good

Called Horizon and zero warranty...so out $120. Hard to swallow that one.
Nano, Turnigy is all I will buy now. Cheap and good...easier to swallow if goes bad.
Mine puffed and popped the case open when i removed the straps after my first run. I have been wondering if i would see a pattern. I did recieve a refund from Horizon after talking with them on the phone and sending pics etc. I really hope these lipos dont hurt anyone!

So I had ordered a Tekin Pro 4 4600kv last friday or something, Got the Tekin Pro 4 today in the mail open the package and its a 4000kv motor..... So I had to send it back and wait on the correct motor now but I should at least have my Rx-8 before then.

I was thinking of picking up a used Medusa 4 pole 3300kv motor to try out, Does anyone have any info on these motor's I haven't found much info cause they weren't made for long before the business went under but from what I've read so far there suppose to be great motor's.

Default Outdrive Pins

I'm building a new set of diffs with the lightened outdrives. These outdrives don't come with the crosspin that goes through the outdrive and behind the side gear inside the diff. I'd like to keep the old diffs assembled as backups. My LHS doesn't have the rebuild kit in stock that includes the pins. Are the same exact pins used elsewhere on the truck? I have wheel hex pins from my Slash 4x4 that appear to fit, but I'm not sure if the original Losi ones are made from a harder metal or something. So, is there another part from the truck I can buy that includes compatible pins? Or should I just use the Traxxas ones? The Traxxas pins are 1.98mm in diameter and 9.70mm long.

Thanks

I Sent it back because it wasn't what I ordered, I want to run a 1y motor and not a D type Motor. The 1y Motor's are more efficient from what I read about brushless motor's
