Finally got my electronics in and got to run it this weekend! The 4000 Pro4 was ballistic along with the RX8. I only had the set of tires that came with the truck, could not grind enough off of my Split Six wheels to get the wishbones on the truck. It did not matter, the truck was ballistic and handled so good! I used the Truhe base setup except for the adjustable toe blocks "Waiting on the TLR Kit", and a set of RCShox Dual Rate pistons. The truck never was upset and always jumped nose level. It also has a 8ight heritage, the thing jumps forward off of jumps. I was able to win with it and had a blast power sliding it through the corners! Can't wait to get a good set of indoor tires on the truck! Way to go Losi, except on one point!

Now I do not have a issue with buying the stuff to get the truck tuned in so multiple sway bars and springs I understand buying. But why would Losi include a setup on the roller that does not match the base setup in the back of the book? Not that the base setup "On the Truck" is that far off, but seems odd they do not at least include the equipment they recommend for a base setup.

Anyway this truck is great and the best truck on the market! I can not wait till I get to try this truck on the outdoor tracks!

Why would you want a 4WD to wheelie? Thats what 2WD SCT's are for...
These are pretty heavy trucks... I would wander what is wrong if it is does wheelies on demand...

I'll use 3800kv motor with 3s and buggy tires. I calculated 11t pinion is the right one to achieve 40mph top speed on that setup. The diff ratio for scrte is 3.88 and the spur is 40t. did I calculated something wrong

I am still running my SC4X 4.5. I bought a Pro 4 4600 but I can't see why I should change it yet. My truck works great with this motor and I'm not getting passed by anyone with a 4600 in theirs.

What is the latest status on the diff housings? Feels like these parts have been on backorder forever now. Id like to build some new diffs up with different oils. Are there any other company replacements that could be substituted?

Also, I threw my front center drive coupler pin right through the plastic sleeve this weekend. Is this why some people were buying those machined sleeves? The part was clearly worn out and was apparently wearing its way thru the plastic for a while. When I tried to rebuild it, the standard pin wouldnt even stay in, it was about 1 - 1.5 mm too short. I had to cut a new longer pin from an old stock 1.9 swaybar until I can order a new shaft assembly.

The diff cases came in and passed QC and should ship out to the BO's today or tomorrow. There are not too many on BO at thsi time so they are around.

Were they changed at all to help with the way the metal inserts were loosening and making the diff leak ?

No they were not. They fit very tight from the get go so not much else can be done past a complete re-design and that isnt going to happen at this point. Just have to glue the inserts in and it works well.
