Broke a shock cap and a hinge pin on the front end today while racing. Not sure which let go first. The hinge pin sheared right off clean at the arm on both sides!! It was a pretty bad landing off a quad on my part. Aluminum caps (losi) are on the way, as well as the pins.

It`s amazing that parts break around the arm and not the arm.I have broken and bent turn buckles but not an arm.I remember at first people were complaining about the quality of plastic on this Rig..I have broke not a plastic part on my truck other than a rear bumper in (8) months of running!!!

Kudos to the Losi crew (Casper, Ryan, Todd, etc) for putting up with guys whining in their thread about things that will be forgotten next year when the truck will be crushing its opposition (figuratively and literally).
I gotta be honest. the sc10 4x4 was rugged. but it handled like a brick. i just bought a losi scte, because i was tired of all the quick fixes to make the sc10 better. was just too rediculous.

I would rather have the durango over the sc10 4x4, but out of all of them the losi scte

Broke a shock end today 2 minutes into the 10 min. main and still got the win. Luckily it was the front that broke so i could carry it with the throttle. Funny thing is, the only part i have ever broken on my previously owned 8ights was a shock end............. coincidence? I think not. Two Great Vehicles? YES.

As far as breaking arms on this thing, you are gonna have to try pretty hard to break one of these! They are built just like the 1/8th scale arms and I don't think I have EVER broken a Losi 1/8th scale arm! Always carry spares for some reason...

I've got two washers back, one washer front. Should I try all three back?

u can leave it like that. Thats how i have mine...or try all 3 back. I just like mine w/ the hubs more forward. Biggest improvement ive made is the emulsion shocks and drilled my plastic caps to bleed them

I was looking into the carbon fiber steering drag link to lighten up the front some. Looking for some feedback from those who have done this change.

Does anybody have any ideas as to the dimensions of the hinge pins?
I was looking into just buying some titanium bar stock and making my own...
Bar stock isn't terribly expensive.... $9-12 a foot

Can anyone please give me some advice regarding a good on road setup, the tracks here in bangkok have started doing a short course class at the normal race weekends so we run on concrete high speed tracks.

I managed to miss out on TQ by .108 in a race yesterday but I was struggling with getting the truck through the corners in some instances as the tires seem to dig in and flip over.

Any advice or links would be appreciated.
