Start by threading the cap on, tilt at a 45 degree angle with the bleeder hole facing up, and turn the shock body. The fluid will bleed out of the hole. Pump the shock a couple times and finish with the shaft completely compressed. If you get rebound, loosen the cap and pump the shock again. You may have to fiddle with it a little, but its not too hard.
thanks

No, that is why you use the search function to see if it has already been (or how many times) answered. Then the thread wouldnt be 1500 pages long.

I don't know if you realize this, but this is a hobby... For fun...
We don't get paid to do this... It is for fun only for the most of us...
So we could do withou all the pompous attitudes in here, its a remote controlled vehicle... Not brain surgery!

You complain about the length of this thread? Yet you make a post that adds nothing to this discussion? Think about it...

Well they make external BEC's that some say fix the issues...
Before doing that I would try a glitch buster like this:
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...iver-Capacitor
Just put this into an open port of your receiver....

If not perhaps a call to the tech support line of the ESC manufacturer before trying the external bec... They may need to repair it, thats all...

What motor and servo are you going to run? Personal transponder or motor fan? Bashing or racing?

Your pinion set screw could be rubbing against the motor mount.

Amain sells the Spectrum receiver cap for $4.99. Not sure if it is the same capacity as the Novak one (it probably is). One way to check if your ESC is having issues supplying enough juice to the receiver is look at the light on the personal transponder. If it blinks/flickers when you turn the steering servo then the voltage from the BEC is dropping. Whether it does it enough to cause a problem you just have to run it and see.

The Hot Bodies pinions work well with the SCTE. They are the shortest you can get so they fit very well with the SCTE mount. I am running the 13t HB pinion on my SCTE.

Castle Creation pinions are also very short and work great on the stock mount and the Elite RC mount .
