I run Lanes setup as well with 27.5wt. I run outdoors mostly on a medium sized 1/10 & 1/8 scale track.

You might have tightened the long srews that hold the rear hinge pin brace and the bumper, you have to back it up half or three quarters of a turn from full, that helped for me.

The 4600 is the only Y wind pro4 motor, so geared for the same speed it should run cooler then the others.

Even when new my hinge pins bound in the arms. Drill or ream them. You still have to check them occasionally as dirt get in there.

Is there a big difference between the lane and Casey peck setup? And thanks for all the input on the shock fluid

This is exactly how mine were. I drilled them out with a drill and now they move freely. Also the sway bar link where the ball end goes into the plastic was tight which was also causing binding. After reaming that out with the hinge pins it super smooth.

No upgrades I am aware of. I would not say this is common. How are your outdrives? I would just replace but make sure you use some black grease on the CV joint before you put it back in. Did it breat at the outdrive or the axles size?
