TLR are adjustable using the inserts and SNR are non-adjustable. Same as the stock but lighter.

I actually use short 4-40 button head screws, I prefer the round head and the length and I have them in my box already.

[QUOTE=Casper;9747661]On the diff build video. For the Ten Diffs LEAVE IN THE WASHER ON THE O-RING. The 8ight diffs you can get away with not running that thin washer but the TEN diffs hold up better with them.

Casper what if the diff binds hard core with the shims/washer I removed one of them on a new diff i was building and it freed it right up. Just wondering what your thoughts are on this.
Thanks

Unhappy Play in the outdrives

I got too much play in my outdrives. As a result of that, I am leaking diff. oil. Especially the rear. Unfortunetly I have to purchase the entire diff. housing (LOSB3542). They do not sell just that ring that inserts into the diff. housing? That ring grinds away and causes play. I got new out drives, the light weight ones. But can't do anything. Got my truck in pieces. Any info would help. Thanks

2nd, what is the easiest way to get the front and rear diff out of the truck to service?
Thanks

Here's how i get into the diffs..
Front diff:
Top plate - unscrew the two screws nearest shock tower just enough so that you can remove the plastic spacer that they hold.
Shock tower - unscrew all screws that go into the diff.
Bottom - unscrew all screws that go into the diff.
Unscrew the holders for the sway bar.

Then just slide the diff out.

Rear diff:
Remove bottom screws and take off the entire rear, and remove any screws that goes into the diff.
