I just recently got the Tekin Pro 4 4000kv motor. Its paired with the MMP. Works flawlessly, With a 14T Pinion, On an Med-Large Track. ESC Temps are around 100*, Motor 150-165 after 10mins of running.

I know some of you like the extra weight of this truck, but I am having a hard time making ten minutes on a 6000maH battery. I have a heavy trigger finger, there is no doubt about that. But how light has anyone been able to get this thing so far? I have been shopping for light weight parts, but I am wondering just how much a difference it can make on this chassis.

TLR Tune Flex Chassis will save you a bunch of weight. Then get the LW Outdrives, They make a big difference as well.

I have seen some 6 lb ready to race trucks , you have to remember every gram helps and they can add up quickly if you can drop half a pound off a car thats like dropping a few hundred pounds in a 1:1 car .

snr, bce, tlr, all these chassis are within the same 75 grams except the snr at 205 i think.

pm bondonutz for questions as he has gotten his truck stupid lightweight.

cut your battery tray
lightweight outdrives
carbon towers
chassis
lightweight wheels/tires
titanium buckles
titanium hinge pins if you can find them
either snr or losi hinge pin holders
trim the rear bumper with the mud flaps

I'd like to reduce turn in and the truck will occasionally traction roll or kick the rear end out off power.

I started with Dakota Phend's setup from the nats. I have changed the following:

Diff Oils: 7/5/2

Shock Oils: 27.5 F/R

Ride Height w/ body on:
F: 25mm
R: 23.5mm

Camber:
F:-3
R:-1.5

Rear shocks: Middle top/ Outside rear

I've tried running Soft Enduros F/R and BowFighter M2 F/ Soft Enduro R. I also bought a set of the Losi Eclipse to try in the rear, but didn't have a chance to try them out.

Would going to the purple spring in the front help slow down turn in? Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Chris
Raise your shock oil up to 32.5 in losi or 30 in ae oil. Also 27mm front and rear with body on and -1 camber front and rear and slight toe out for the front wheels. Also running the stock eclipse tires in the front will give you slight push.

Do you mind listing the mods that got you to that weight? It would be really helpful

micrors4guy:
this will do nicely for you as it has for me - they're thin (allowing for finer control of the shimming), the right size, and low priced. They're also available at losipartshouse if you'd rather order from there. Enjoy
