The offsets are different so I would just go with scte wheels.

Hi everyone,
Finally received a parcel from Swiss Post yesterday!
Opened the box to realize it was still one of the first batch of Ten SCTe...
So it looks like I am going to have to get those pins from Chris...
I thought by now the first batch would have been gone...
Also have something that looks like rust on the outdrives!
I am a little disappointed to be honest.
Anyway, I am going to order ChrisPins (anybody wit a link pls by any chance?).
Will also get the HD Lightened Outdrives and the CF Losi shock mounts.
Now waiting for my MMP 1415/2400Kv and a couple of 50C+ LiPos.
Will try to paint this WE.
All the best,
V

Hi Vasidudu!

Congrats on your purchase! I got my SCTE last week here in Germany and it also had no sticker on the battery tray (first batch). BUT there was a separate bag with different cross pins, which will for sure be the updated ones. Take a look in the packaging maybe you got them also.

Have fun!

Same here in Belgium, there was an extra bag with new diff axles. It was attached to the internal packaging, not easy to see.

Hey guys,
No separate bag of pins for me.
Little disappointed.

How come this batch is still referring to the first one? Any idea?
Anyway, have ordered the following:
- ChrisPins
- Steel bushings and outdrive shims
- Hardened outdrive shims
- 3 x NC6000.2S2P.6/17265 Turnigy nano-tech 6000mah
Although this pin issue is an issue, I cannot complain; this thread I have been reading for the last 2 weeks NON STOP.
Thanks to the guys from Losi (Ryan? and Casper?).
At least, they answer and try their best to help.
Not every company's policy/behaviour.
Best,
V

I told you to consider buying the truck in the states . I managed to get a spare truck for a good deal and that one was also from the 1st batch(although with extra pins on the side).

I don't know how the scene looks like in Switzerland, but in Sweden the SCTE doesn't seem to be very popular.

At my track there is only one other with a scte, and he hasn't driven it in months due to diff problems. He has now purchased a sc10 4x4. That truck and the scrt10 seem to be the most popular in southern Sweden.

I've also been keeping tabs on races around the country, and from what i've seen there has only been one or two SCTE's attending.

Hey Guys we received some inquires regarding our SCTE Race Chassis
You do not need to add any cover to the center.
we designed the chassis to be a single purpose built Chassis
only for the Scte 4x4 (Electric) Racing.
You will need to use the shorted center diff screws due to the center diff
is lower for optional C/G. Plus all of the weight reduction not having to
use the Oem Plastic risers/ fasteners.
BCESPEED SC4x4 Pro Chassis.

Not Needed!

Thank you
