Installed the TLR chassis and raced it today. Was overall happy with performance. Not a huge difference but noticeable in a good way. Hence I am not an advocate of Jenny Craiging my Losi. (We found too much weight out of these dont do well on our big tracks. Have to say it... braked better, didn't need to have to put weight on the chassis anymore to balance out Flight Travel, turned in a bit faster.

An alternative to securing the sensor wire.

Jammin center diff cover with transponder mount.
I see a telemetry wire around that pro 4 and im going to guess someone has a MT4 I have the exact same setup with the temp probe around my pro 4 also

Thanks Mavrick. Losi Support should pay you, because it's been a full week and they haven't bothered to get back to me for something that is clearly missing in their manual.

ran my scte today with tlr chassis and 4600 pro 4 motor. Changed my set up a little, went to 30 wt shock oil all around with 4 pistons in rear 3 up front. ran it with 28/31 ride height. Truck felt good, little bouncy and traction rolled. dropped my ride height to 28 all around. Truck felt great after that. Ended up TQ and won. very happy with this set up. pro 4 motor did great geared 13 i came off at 137 after 8 min main. Thats with 80 CL, 50 break,0 timing.

Hey guys, i have a question for you, i want to know how is the feeling driving the SCTE ? i mean, i m looking to improve my skills in 1/8scale but due to the winter, we have to stop racing soon... then i want to continue in indoor and looking for a car very similar to the 1/8 scale in terms of feeling..

What do you think about?

Thanks

I drove a nitro buggy for the first time ever yesterday. After having driven the scte around for the last few months, it made total sense. Pretty much the same feel as far as I am concerned.

losi whyy can't you install better shock towers on this truck from stock instead of forcing us to buy carbon fiber?

I pulled my truck off the track the other day and the rear tower looked like a pretzel.

Titanium links instead of the tuning kit? Also, what spare's would be suggested? Haven't broken anything yet in a handful of races but I'm sure its only a matter of time.
Thanks
Get the TLR tuning kit and spend the rest on track time. You could also just save the money for replacing worn parts and practice. You cannot buy fast lap times. The fastest guy at our track is a sponsored pro with a slash.

Had my first race night with the short bus after putting on a tuning kit and TLR chassis, the truck is now a completely different monster on the track. I noticed that many of the areas where the truck didn't do that well at, are now much better. The truck jumps better and more controllable.

I drove my Losi SCTE to victory yesterday at the Revlations Raceway Nitro House Open...I love the way the truck drives. It has tons of steering and flies pretty level in the air(eventhough I wasn't hitting the huge double we had)..which turned out to be a blessing in the 7 minute main because my battery dumped one lap after the race ended lol. Anybody know of some bigger mah batteries for a decent price? 8000-10000mah range?
