Question shock guys

Are you guys building them like this video without any rebound in the shock OR like tim's video from nitro house where he has about half rebound when pushed all the way in thanks.

Looks like I may need to sell my SCTE for other projects. It's stock with updated pins and 3 pair of tires. Its in great shape...roller only. Any idea what this is worth guys, rough idea is fine.

The nitro house build really isnt a true emulsion shock, he doesnt have the hole drilled in the shock cap, it does make a huge difference to control rebound and to make sure the shock is bled properly. As far as rebound goes its really all preference to what you like.

Yes you will need to cut the bladder out. Shock oil shouldnt change between bladder and emulsion.

This has been covered a long time ago. Pretty normal play for the center diff in this truck. Other then people pointing out the play is there I have not heard of anyone saying it effects performance at all so just run it.

We run no rebound with elumsion shocks. (there may be just a little depending on how they get bleed but for praticaly purposes we will so no rebound!)

Run it. They all do that and as the dif wears it actually gets worse than that. But.... No ill effects for me or anyone else that I have heard about.

In that case, you will have to drill them out...or if you want to send them in, I will do it myself for you. We have very little of the older stock left and I thought it was gone until I checked the warehouse myself. We did however just get a new shipment in that is the updated part.

$5 part is one thing, but $30 plus is another
The updated ones have a revA on the back of the header card but the same part number.

I would have done it too, lol. You really want to use emulsion shocks on that track. You can send them in and I will drill it myself.

I might take you up on that offer. Man I wish I didn't throw out the stockers so I can have something while I send it to you. I'll have to figure out a weekend that I'm definitely not racing so I can send them. I appreciate the offer. I've been wanting to switch to emulsion for a few weeks now.
