i dont have the means to test it. I didn;t buy it for the C rating, I bought it for the additonal capacity. I can say this, it has more punch than my 40C 2S Venoms

crud, went looking on their site, and they have a 5800 now, no longer have the 6200...what the heck?
I wouldnt! I bought 2 of them and it turns out they were "Mislabeled" and were actually 5000 packs. He sent me 2 more batteries and turns out they were mislabeled 5000's as well. This whole ordeal went on for over 5 weeks.

Now, I heard that his 6200 packs never were 6200 but were actually 5800's. What a joke. Needless to say I wont be going back.

I really hate how he handled the whole situation as well. Poor communication which led me to file a paypal dispute since several days went by after he received my return and didn't refund or even email me. Oddly I had the money in my paypal account about 2 hours after the dispute was filed. Not a way to run a business IMO.

If you bought 6200 packs from him.....check how many mah's go back into them after a charge. I bet they are 5000 or 5800 packs.

PS...I really hate blazing people on the internet but I was really disappointed in how he handled the whole thing and it sure felt like he was/is trying to get away with selling batteries that aren't what they are advertised to be.

I've been using promatch batteries since the days of racing emaxx's was the latest thing. In all my dealings with jeff from promatch his customer service has been the best in the industry, I'm sorry if you had a bad experience but I can assure you that is not the norm.

i've never run this pack to cutoff, but i have put 5500mah back into it.

Someone correct me if im wrong, but would you ever put the full mah back into a pack? I mean you stop running at cutoff worst case. The battery isnt dead per se. Like on my 2S 40C 5000 Gens Ace, I hit cutoff, and only ever put like 4600 back in.

same goes for my venoms

Yep, I posted this in another forum and they didn't believe me when I said I was putting 5400 back in if I run it down to voltage cutoff. I figured it was my Venom Pro Charger Plus not being accurate.

If I run for about 10 mins. or hit cutoff, I will put back 5400 in my Gens Ace and that is all 3 of them. I might try it on another charger sometime and see what it says.

I put over 7000 back into 2 of my turnigy 6000 25C's after hitting cutoff when they were new. I just don't think they can keep up with what the Novak draws over time. All I know is I have had 12 Turnigy packs and these are the first I have had any trouble with.

Default HARDWARE

Anyone find a place with titanium hardware for this beast? Or at least some nice SS. The RC Screwz kit and the Tonys kit are looking like the only option out there. Not that the price is unbearable but I hate being boned for something that should be half the price.

Well, I hit LVC (while in the lead of the a-main) when I figured out the batteries were not as advertised. When I got the second batch (arrived as I was backing out of the driveway to go race) I also hit LVC while leading the A main. I had to go back to a Turnigy 5200 that I had but they tried a 10 minute main this past saturday so I hit LVC this past saturday at about 8 min. So so far, these batteries have cost me 3 races (well...actually 2 but since I didnt get what I paid for I had to use a turnigy for the 3rd!).

I ordered some Nanotech 6000 packs. I had a good experience running those turnigy 5200's for a year so I'm going to give their nano-techs a try

Same here...I have had great results with the Turnigy's. I also have had great results with the Venom's...the Venoms have been my best lipo in the $50-$100 range.
The Orion carbon's are really nice, but pricey. 6500mah 90c with power for days

Hey larlev, do you race at the claypit? My dad is Bob Mellen! He told me today that the pit is closing in a month? Bummer!
