Very happy with this set up.
Did you have any problems with it stuttering from a stand still when you gunned it? I had that exact esc and motor in mine but I had to take out the tenshock and put the 1410 back in because of the stuttering on take off.

Anyone got pics of the shock caps with bleeder holes? I want to drill my own holes. Not sure exactly where they go.

no problems with shuttering at stand still. I turned my timing to zero to make sure that wont happen. Also turned down the punch at start down to level 4. Still bursty even at lvl 4.

my castle blower NEVER worked. Been using a turnigy fan heat sink combo. Its been solid for over a year on my slash so I figured I may as well give it a try.

I see it as a safety net for the new users, if it's similar to the 1415 on the internal specs it will be a killer motor on 3S (which you know) and fairly indestructible.

what ride height are most running for clay indoor tracks? I ran my sc10 4x4 at 24-25mm FWIW. Im having a tougher time coming up with setup sheets like I could with my sc10 4x4

I kind of see it as a spec motor too on 2s which is good for newcomers.

The stock pistons are the #3 pistons.

so i take it that the new caps with the bleeders are very new, or have they been out for a little bit. what are the chances that i order a set and they will be the right ones with the bleeders. thanks[/QUOTE]

The first 500 sets we got in did not have the holes, everything after that does. However some of the older stock is floating around. I have been drilling them for those that need it done. Its not hard as long as you go slow and punch a starter spot.

Why would I not answer this...lol. They shipped out yesterday via air so they should be here within a week and a half or so.

It actually runs great on 2s. It comes geared at a 18 and the motor mount allows more room however you dont need it. It will work on 3s but I suggest gearing it down a lot.

Not a spec motor at all, it runs great on 2s. Its a 2800, not a 2400.

What chassis is being used with this set up?

Thanks
