Its your ESC, I run the MMP and still have to run an external BEC with my Savox servo's, I was running a capacitor, but went ahead and got the BEC
Im debating on getting rid of my MMP just for thgis reason and going to Tekin... I just really like the CastleLink software better than Tekins, much more user friendly

I've been fighting my sc10 4x4 since the day it came out!! Im done just ordered the scte I got it from amain should the diff pins in the kit be replaceda or they the good ones I did not know if it was taken care of on the new kits. Any other fixes out the box gonna put my 8ight shocks on first thing. Thanks

Anyone order the 2 stage pistons from RCshox? I just got mine and installed them. Initial impression...good. Definitely different feel from stock.

I use Savox and only have a cap...I guess I was lucky. Never had an issue since.
IMO the glitching sometimes is because of the cheap switch...once I cut it and soldered, never have had a single glitch. Had plenty even with cap at first.

I have had good luck with the stock diff pins but I am having issues with the drive shaft pin coming out thru the plastic retaining collar that goes over it. The retainer doesn't break it just has one little hole in it that let the drive shaft pin out. I now change that ring every race weekend and that has solved it while I wait on the machine shop to build me a collar out of alum.

Heres mine...
nothing special
MMP with an external Castle BEC
1410 motor with 15t pinion
Savox 1267 (overkill...perfect)
ChrisPins
Carbon Towers
Proline Snipers on DE Racing wheels
other than that and the Upgrade wrap, shes pretty much stock,
Body hasnt been painted yet, that "should" happen this week...we'll see how that goes.

I run MMP and 3800...my esc temps are never above 150. What are your castlelik settings? Steering travel settings(epa)? These all make a difference.

Anyone..... Anyone know what othe wheels work, besides stock and DE?

I don't use punch at all, 50% brakes, initial power(low), no timing, 6v, can't remember others. Try these and see if temps get better.

Gens Ace 2s 40c's, damn good batteries for the money. So far its been a pretty bulletproof setup, I just hate the fact that I bought an external BEC to "band aid" the weak BEC in the MMP, which is known and recognized by Castle.
Honestly, if Tekins Hotwire interface was more user friendly, I probably would've went that route long ago, but I like Castles simple and easy to use software...

Some have been there and Done that, Think Moose racing.
It was a Big FAIL to say the least.
Robert @ Matrix is the closest to perfection with the replaceable inserts and the fact his product was some of the best in the industry (20+ years in Composites will do that to ya)
Here's my Matrix Chassis after 3+ years of running on Anything you can think of for Dirt tracks from Smooth Blue groove to Loose as a Goose Rough Clay. Ya its not a SCTE, But being near a Pound heavier and being 1/8 it goes through a lot more punishment then a SC could ever think of.
Also if anyone is interested in a Matrix Chassis drop him a line @ [email protected]
The ball should be rolling on these Sooner then later

Thanks Integra, that is kind of what I had envisioned but the plate on to the top. If any old school ski racers remember derby flex or now Volkl does piston and motion technology (something similar). Not that any of this is cost effective in R/C applications but if someone has the resources you could make some trick stuff that I could see being applied to a chassis.

What are you guys doing for your bumpers are you running stock, trimming stock, or using t-bones?
Thanks
Thanks

I am using the 1410 motor. I have not changed my initial power from the stock setting so I may need to look at that. No timing either.
