Exclamation

Oh we have been getting questions regarding our Vs OEM and the Benfits
Here is a repost of the explnation...

Hi Guys I have been asked many times why we do what we do with the
Chassis So I wanted to post this to explain some of the process
of our Custom Chassis vs Oem stock.
Quote:

Hi VBB We use 7075 T6 Billet, that is fully CNC Machined.
Where the Oem company's use Alclad, and they are stamped out
by the thousands, The Kits need to produce many chassis at a time
where we only produce small batches, The big difference that we get from the
racers is, the longevity(Chassis Life) vs stock, and the fact they will hold the tune of the
set up much longer Ie;tweak, bending etc. and usually we come in lighter
than most of the stock chassis.just due to our extensive lighting programs.
Hope this Helps..

Looks like a nice setup. Thats a long haul from St. Pete. Next time I go up to see the parents in Inverness I might have to run up there. Do you have a Hilton up there to stay in?

Have no idea what they have for hotels, never been before, were gonna get up early Sat morning and shoot up there for the day since its just a 1 day event.
I forgot though, youre running 3s and 1/8 wheels and tires...you'd have to run 2s, standard SC wheels and tires and a full fendered truck body.

Where do you normally run it at, Lake Park?

I think you have me confused with Bondo. I've got the black/blue body with black wheels and Enduros. Still running 3S at the moment, although thats going to change with the addition of another truck. We were running Lake Park until it flooded out. Not sure when we can get back in there. Practice at Plant City tomorrow. Another track Just recently opened off Dale Mabry that we plan on checking out.

Just wondering as long as they are not over tightened they should go in and out fine and not come loose.I have been running my truck since Feb and my screws hold fine!!Any way maybe I don't really get the question ?Can you elaborate? If your talking about the center diff mount? Than def use a little less locktite, also if you have a piece of scotchbrite pad wrap that around your wrench handle to get a better grip on those tight screws!

makes working on your center diff much easier..It has nothing to do with not wanting to turn a wrench...and I am sure Im not the only person who would appreciate a spilt center diff

However, I do find that along with higher motor temps, that I am indeed unloading more MAH per minute. I'm getting a little nervous about making 10 minutes now. I'll know more when I'm back on a "regular" sized track this weekend. Hard to correlate a 40 second a lap track to a 25-30 second track as far as mah usage.

These are the ones I'm using now:
