If it gets too warm, Go to a 13t. When I have run on a smaller track, A 13t is perfect.

I hope that this was a good write up even though it was long! Thanks again to Ryan Dunford (Hacker07) for letting me test these out! If anyone has any questions, I can answer them if it has to do with the build up of them (no leaks!) but if it's a question having to do with anything else like when they'll be available to the public, those are best aimed toward Ryan. Thanks for reading!
it's great to see new gears~~~
does the new spider gears still need to use the extreme small washers at the back ???

This is only my opinin and I'm certainly no pro, but there is so much more contact between the gears that I certainly wouldnt be surprised if people experimented with leaving them out like on the Losi Eight diffs that i believe Adam Drake started building like that with success. But to stay inline with Losi's recommends, I included them. If anyone decides to omit the tiny shims, do so at your own risk and know that you chance ruining the gears. That being said, I'm sure someone will try it and I look forward to seeing thier results.

really thanks for your info.~~~~
the tiny shims are eating the stock spider gears........so i changed to use large shims from 1:10 on-road car gear diff., they are perfect fit and have no wear issue at all, the shims are really really cheap.........
0.1mm and 0.2mm for choose

Just had 6 cases of Yuengling delivered from a friend that's working in up state NY. No body carries it around my neck of the woods.

Have you got a part number or know which car the shims you are using come from?

Do you know the ID and OD measurements of these shims?

Thanks

these shims are from SPEC-R.......they made many gear diff for 1:10 on-road cars and those diff are all using these shims behind their sun gears

the center hole is not perfect fit but only about 1mm gap in between, these shims can fully support the back of the losi spider gears, also hold up more diff oil to reduce the friction between diff case, shims and spider gears.

i ran about 30 batteries and see no wear at all......hope can help all SCTE racers~~~

When you guys quote a post with a bazillion pictures, could you please delete the PICS out of the quote. It makes the thread SOOOOO much easier to read Posts with a half page of pics are GREAT....the first time you see them, lol. After seeing the same ones 13 times......not so much

The New RTR will be the first to include these new gears in the diffs. And I second what Ridley said unless you are making a reference to a certain pic, it is good to remove them.
