I'm gonna go out on a limb and say yes! MMMM, love me some graphite! Besides, what I'm thinking is something lower and closer to the centerline.

Me too I am thinking of something like a onroad sedan with the battery on the chassis I don't know if it can handle the bounding of offroad.

Maybe just use foam between the chassis and battery, then have graphite sides?

Nice to hear" and that brings up the question: Has anyone used the new
AKA Rebars on the Losi SCTE yet and what kind of track conditions have
people been finding they work best on?

Nice, I hate it when those faux lug nuts on the DE wheels get caught on my fingers when I'm washing my tires.

I'll have to weigh my truck next week at the track, after I've done more of my lightening madness lol right now it's almost completely stock as opposed to my other one that's been modded with several parts. I'm going to run that one mostly close to stock weight, but the one with the CF chassis, I'm planning on trying to see how light I can get it while retaining strength and durability, including Ti screws.

THX Bro.
The SCTE of mine pictured was built for the local indoor track, I'm building a second SCTE when I receive my other BCE chassis middle of this week with the intention of the 1/8scale outdoor track. This second build will not be as extreme as the first, I will do the battery tray swap/mod and TiNi links & hinge pins, Losi hard anode towers and adjustable hinge pin holders and shock collars and caps . I want to keep most of the weight since the track is usually dry and has mild bite at best.
