I found the rotor. Add it to the cost of a new motor and its in Tekin Pro4 territory.

How did you crap out this ESC? i ran a MMP in my 1/8 with a tekin 1900 on 4s and drove that thing into the ground and my MMP is now in my TEN running a novak 550...

i run the SC8/tenshock combo and it's been perfect. no issues whatsoever. great esc for me thus far (about 4 months).

I honestly dont know. I did everything to keep it going. Only ran it on 2s. My guess would be, over time Castles "snap on" ESC cases get loose over time. Causes all sorts of problems. I Landed pretty hard off a jump at my local track, Didnt bottom out or anything. Landed and it just cogged to hell then stopped working. No wires were worn, Everything looked brand new inside the case. No burnt smell or anything. Its the Current V3 MMM also.
I looked at how much it would cost to repair it, and its not even worth it.

Not a big fan of the reducer. Its an extra part at a critical connection plus I can't keep track of the little S.O.B on the bench because I'm a half-blind S.O.B

Nitrohouse.com and Amain both sell 3mm Mod1 pinions. Pretty sure I put links on the first page to those pages.

Got a couple for my 2400 4 pole but I'm re-powering for 2S and trying to make a decision on which way to go. Mostly Just spending too much time thinking about it.

I just put the Tenshock 4000kv and the HW SC8 in my SCTE and i am loving it. I got it as a backup to my MMP and 1410 but now I think the MMP and 1410 are the backups. I dont have a temp gun but the ESC feels like ambient temp and the motor is warm but I can hold my hand on it after a full 6200MAH pack in 90deg temp. I have a 14 tooth pinion on it and it has gobs of power.

Just get the Ofna 3mm pinions from Phils Hobbies. Ive got a 15 and 16 for Lake Park and a 12 for indoor at Plant City. No crappy reducer required. Ordering them from Phils is easier and quicker than nitrohouse. Usually takes about 3-4 days for him to get them in. Better yet dont get a pinion at all. Keep that truck on the shelf. At least that way you cant skooled LOL. Cant wait to get all of us out at LP again now that we all have the same SC truck. Are you gonna pick up a 1410 3800kv? If so get one on Ebay they are 60 bux still.
