How many of these are returns? Haha

But wow this is awesome I have been asking novak to do this for a while.

so tell me this Gents, the SCT combo with CC1410 motor and esc is $139
the CC 1410 motor alone is $135....

what the crap is going on here? I find it hard to believe the speed control is 5 bucks.. are they just taking advantage of customers when they buy the 1410 motor alone?

Is there a cheaper place I can buy the 1410 and MMP
Ebay the motor and get a MMP, Viper, or RX8. That little motor is a beast, power, runs cool, and is light. Gear it 14t-16t and have a blast.

I bought some aluminum shock caps from amain, and no bleeder holes, and the 1 pair my local shop has no holes also. Anyone know if amain will let me trade them in if they are unopened?

You can buy the 1410 on ebay for $60 via "buy it now"
Yep - I've bought two at different times from this guy. Never had any problems.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Castle-Creations...item1e649212c9

Note: I don't see any issues with the 3mm shaft on the 1410. You can buy OFNA 3mm Mod1 pinions in the teeth you want (14-16) and not require an adapter. However, if you had a motor that needed more teeth (IE: the castle 1415) that that can be an issue, since the 3mm pinions seem to stop at around the 17 tooth mark.

Goehm - the 3mm shaft isn't an issue at all. You can buy a sleeve that converts the 3mm to 5mm so that it'll fit standard mod 1 pinions

Did you just call my 3mm pinions abnormal!?

Just kidding - but yea - if you have 5mm pinions lying around you want to use you can use the adapter. I (and others) don't care for adapters, so was just trying to point out that you can get all the gear ratios you need in the 1410's range without an adapter.

Care to share your source for these pins?

EDIT:
now that ive completely shown my ignorance, and done 60seconds worth of research, are these universal on the truck (both center and wheel shafts?

i guess i should check part listings and not assume my LHS has all the parts LOL
I bought them at the lhs I belive these were it, if not it was made by the same company they are just a hair longer than the orginals http://c0456141.cdn.cloudfiles.racks...mugc0265_1.jpg

KYO92051 Kyosho 2x11mm Pin (10) these are the other pins I got they are a hair longer but figured out after looking at the drive shafts I be safer getting the 11mm long ones and shave them down a lil if I gotta.

Why not just drill them yourself? I did the plastic ones and they work great.
