drill out a little material from the a-arms and use a bit of super fine graphite.

Just got the SNR CF chassis. Perfect fit. Very high quality. Can't wait to run it at the track.

hacked a bit more off the battery tray and put on some wheels with no bling (no faux-beadlock rings):

He doesn't have them for the Losi yet. Give it a week or two and you'll see some.

That would be some of my handy work. Not a print guy, but I can manage.

Looks awesome! If you find your truck pushes more with the stiffer chassis, try going back to the original rear chassis brace, that'll probably bring a little more flex to the rear end of the truck which may give you better steering. That being said, I don't think it'll be an issue since the geometry of this truck seems to have a lot of steering built into it in the first place. I'm getting mine tomorrow. I'm getting the 3.7mm, good luck with yours! Let us know how you like it!

Yeah, I am looking forward to it as well. Its on a big outdoor track and there are no big jumps...isnt that against some sort of law? Heck, even the electric worlds had big jumps this year.[/QUOTE]

no big jumps trying to make it fun for all leves . no big jumps does not mean its easy

Thanks for the advice. I totally forgot about the stock shorter chassis brace. Will try both tomorrow at the track.

just curious, wondering if someone would be kind enough to explain for us other losi guys not in the know about the differnce between running long vs short, or soft vs hard chassis braces and their impact on handling.

don't make me say please, damn I think I just did.

I am no tuning guy, but I will tell you the short brace lets the rear drive shaft Pop out and the long one does not!

I'd have to get a chassis protector for that thing.

Looks good though.
