Here are some pics of the new SNR carbon fiber hinge pin holders. Works great and looks awesome. At least 6 track days already, no issues whatsoever.

Those are T-Bone racing bumpers.

Rear bumper is from the Ten-T, little smaller than SCTE bumper.

i dont see whats the big deal about droop screws to be honest. if you dont want the chizzle look alike screw take a file and make them smoother or not run them at all. i used to switch from running those and not running them, but here is a pic of the little scratches they did to the usa t6 aluminum when i used them.

now that we're on the same topic it seems as you guys are in a race for the lightest chassis salad fork, ridley, eight-e just to name a few have said its a perfect balance, even BCE said he can remove more material, but at what cost? making things above the chassis much heavier?

Now same argument that ridley bought a few days ago vs. the losi guys....

Which version will be sold/tested since apparently there is 2 versions now?

ps... bustanut66...

am i blind or do those hinge pins only have 1 e-clip on one end only? wont they move front to back and are those chris a pins? did you notch the stock chassis for the hinge holders? im asking by the looks of the rear chassis.

Yes, I run chris hinge pins front n back. The front uses eclips. The rear snr holder is captured. Did not modify chassis at all.

How is the mmp esc and novak ballistic 4.5 550 combo for this truck? Got an offer to buy a brand new never run TEN with this included for a great price, but not sure if this combo is suited for this truck or not. I know most are running RX8's.

Thanks

some run it, can always just get an rx8 if/when it blows up if it's a good deal, warranty repair the mmp and sell it

It will work , but you will need an external BEC because the BEC inside the MMP is SHT

IDK , I have 2 and they both will still shut down even using regular servos but work fine with an external BEC . Hopefully those new low amperage servos coming from Hitec will solve this problem ?

The stock chassis weighs 286 grams, the new TLR chassis weighs in around 214 but that was before the last small pocket was added. Either weigh, its a good balance of weight savings with still having the strength to it. This is why we tested so long to get it right.

It has been said a few times that you can get it to this weight. However, you really need to talk to your track owner as a weight limit that excludes any 10th scale vehicles is way off.

Mine is at 5lbs 15oz ready to sit on the track....getting to 6.2lbs is rather easy.

A lot of it has to do with your battery and motor choices, There's a huge disparity in weight amongst battery packs in the 6000mah range as well as a huge weight difference between the Tenshock/castle 4 pole motors and the beastly 550 can motors.

With a battery in the 315 gram range, and a smaller 4 pole motor, all you really need to do to get to 6.2 lbs is remove plastic thats not needed...like most of the battery tray, most of the radio tray, most of the rear bumper, etc.
