Have some questions on setups, I was wondering which way to go. I have a slash 4x4 which I am putting in the garage for a bit because I am going to order a SCTE in the next day or so. I was wondering if anyone has much experience with the Castle 4 pole sct setups? I currently have the 3800kv setup in my Slash and love it on 2s. Will this system be ok in the SCTE on 2s 30c 5000mah? I have done some reading on here and realize guys dont get much run time out of these trucks. I wonder if i would get more run time or just have a better setup if i went out and bought the 2400kv system and went to some 3s 40c 5000mah? I would like to use what I have now but will get new stuff if I have to. I mostly only run at OCRC and WCRC, both clay indoor. thanks for and help and gearing tips if you have any.

Was that on 2 cell? do you think that using a 3 cell would give you more run time?

Yes you would get more runtime with that setup, but would not be legal at most tracks on 3s.

I would really like to get this ride but I refuse to buy $100+ dollar batteries to make a ten minute race. I have to run 2s and 5200 is the largest reasonably priced I can find at the moment. Minus a good solution I will be looking into a truggy I guess....

That makes me wonder if I could fit two 2s in the trey and parallel them? Say two 3000's?

You can go 10 min on a 5200 pack. I went 10 min on a 5000mah pack at hot rod. The track has so much grip at OCRC right now we are drawing lots of amps I would not take many warm up laps but it can be done.

Casey Peck had to go 10 min at the Nitro challenge. I wonder what battery he ran. That track was huge.

Ordered mine from rpp hobbies late friday night along with a set of wheels. Today it shipped out minus the wheels cause they are on back order. I checked amain, losi parts house, stormer and a few others and they are still on back order. Seems like xxx-sct wheel dilemna deja vu. I thought wheels shipped before the kit? I did order a set from horizon but spent $24 for a set after shipping/tax and don't know if I will have by this weekend. frustrating

That was on 2S after 8 minutes of racing. It's very fast on 2S on 3S it would be insane. The few weekends I tested the 1410 it was pulling from 2200-2450mah for 6 minutes and 3300mah was the most I put back into the pack after 8 minutes.

I get my new battery tray this week, I plan on testing the 1415 on 3S. Should happen Thursday.

A little help please. I bought a NIB TEN-T roller off ebay to run as an e-truggy. The truck showed up today and managed to punch the front left axle through the box. The drive pins for the hex and cvd are both missing. Do any of the following kits contain the correct parts I need?
LOSA2949
LOSB3125
LOSA3518

Thanks,

Chris

I find it interesting that you ordered them from Horizon and they shipped, which means they are in stock at Horizon. Which means the shops you ordered from need to order more. So, its not a XXX-sct thing, its a hobby shop thing. We have them in stock so please dont start something that is not the case here.

The tools and manual and all of that should be under the car/cardboard. If you are indeed missing these parts, contact Horizon and we will get you taken care of right away.

LOSB3519 has the hex and pin for the wheel hex
LOSB3565 has the pin and couplers for the F/R axles.
