Yup, nothing like putting black soot all over a "hot rod" as you roll past it in your 3/4 ton longbed 4 door on 36" or taller tires. I miss my diesel... (for the record, mine wasn't that fast but plenty fast enough)

i am patiently waiting for this truck to get back in stock. (I previously owned the 1st batch) With the newer version out, how long do you think the stock gears will last? I bought about 10 sets of extras. Just wondering If I will use them all before the summer is over.

the truck is in stock every where. the gears are not bad, the pins were, but thats a thing of the past. if you bought 10 sets a long time ago most likely those diffs pins are no good and will fail on you.

stocks pins are fine now since 3 months ago when the 2nd batch came out
there are no issues with gears (unless you have leaky diffs and run them bone dry)

but if you're looking for a new truck pm this guy. http://www.rctech.net/forum/r-c-item...losi-scte.html he may ver well be local to you

Online, they are out of stock. (most popular sites) I haven't went to any local so cal shops lately, ill have to call around.
Thanks for the info. Ill sand my diff cases, and examine them, to try to prevent the leaky diff.
I had chris pins on my old scte, but the Small metal blocks got beat up pretty bad.

I seen Cults truck up for sale. Not really what I'm looking for. I'd rather have a sealed box, w/ body. I have a couple pair of Jammin product Carbon fiber shock towers already.

WHOA, we get to talk about wheeling and Fox bodies and real (air cooled) Porsches in this thread?

Who wants to buy an SC10 4x4?

my stomache hurts a little this morning, can we talk about digestion too? Maybe work in some health tips while we're at it This thread is on a bender again, people just can't help but stray... The only picture of a 1:1 car that should be posted in here is the one with a SCTE sitting next to it and they both look the same, body style and paint job. Now that would be cool, otherwise post in #cars or #rides or #haulers.. not #scte

i have been running the ten-t rear bumper and scte front from t-bone. they seem to be very durable and should last a long time. the only downside is that the rear, with it's built in skid, is quite thick. i think on some damp tracks in may dig in pretty hard and slow momentum. for now though, i am liking them.

Can anyone answer this for me? And then I've noticed that some guys are running the 5.5 with the 14mm rotor. What advantages do you get from that?
