Default Good charger?

I just got a elec offroad truck and so now I am going to start looking for a decent battery charger. I have a digital peak pirana charger. I am wanting something that can discharge and stuff like that but not take a hige chunk out of my wallet.. haha.. What are your suggestions?

Get a 20 amp bulb discharger with a cutoff switch. You'd be hard pressed to find a charger with a discharge funtion for a decent price. A light tree and cutoff works just as good and for under 40 bucks.

Default reedy or a pitbul

if i were u id get a power suply right away so then u dont kneed to worry about it then for ur charge the only decent cheaper charger is the compotition electronics pit-bull or the reedy quasar

i my self wouldt tell u to get what i have . a turbo 35 and a millenium by novak i myself also have a pitbul and it is very reliable but if u get one of these buy fuses.

The LRP Pulsar Sport is also good and be found for 99$ (at stormer, I think). It dont discharges. But you could get an Integy Reactor discharger, which features auto-cut off.

It is important thought to have at least a 20 amp discharge. The Pulsar is only 10....the novak doesn't.....the Piranha is just a few. I run the Integy 16x7v6 and it has up to a 30 amp discharge. Mine is also AC/DC.

Default our charger

We've been racing for under 2 years now, and have all GP3300 cells. We race TC3's and B4 and T4's regularly.

We've been using the Twin Peak dual battery charger. It's a Dynamite product. It only charges and does nothing else. it's been a dependable charger.

For us at this point in our racing there is no need for a better charger with more features. It wouldn't help us win any more races.

The only reason I might think about another charger is to have the feature of 5 volt continuous output to power our motor lathe. Currently we use three 3300 cells to power it.
