Default Tuning a Revenge of the Monster Stock motor

I am going to be using this in a 4wd buggy for the Regionals. Anyone got good tuning advice?

Once you've done all your polishing and what-not....

-center the arm
-4499 on posative with purple spring
-cross-cut on negative with blue spring
-solder shunts directly to tabs
-hood sinks
-diod of coarse.

This is the setup I use for the mains at big races only, otherwise I ususally tone it down a bit. It should work great for you.

Default your motor

if u want a better torqe motor put putnum green brushes on the positive side and putnum blues on the negitive with purple springs al around... because of the HUGE amount of silver in those bruses they were a little faster so clean um after every race this setup got me second in the midwest off road champion ships

Thanks for the info guys.

For the springs what are there equivalent stiffness ratings ( ie- medium on +, etc )

If you have fiddlestick settings that would be great as well.

Also, what application did you use this setup in?
