it'll be an interesting debate. the mugen won the worlds, the top 5 cars were 2 mugens and 3 kyoshos. i have a mugen, so any opinion from me would be bias

This is such an easy question to debate. They BOTH are good its a coin toss really. wich ever one you can get parts quicker is the one you should buy.

Can you even get the mbx5 prospec yet? If so were and how much, Im not much of a Mugen guy but but the prospec comes with alot of hopups. I gettin ready to buy a new buggy myself so Im having a hard time deciding between the xray xb8, mo777 special 1 or mbx5 prospec.

Its a tossup, if you want better handling, more steering, and durability, go for the Kyosho. If you want more consistency, and better jumping, go for the mugen. I would personally choose the 777, since my k3 handles and steers better then any mugen ever would. I wouldn't let anyone let worlds form an opinion of either car. The turnout of the race would of probably been the same no matter what any of the drivers were driving.

Thick aluminum parts won't make the car handle better...

I'm going to have to agree thick aluminum parts has gotta go. First off they are too damn expensive & of course makes the car a little bit heavier than normal. If you have money to spend on the bling then get it.

i think that the thing u are all missing is that the ofnas placed 1st and 2nd at pre worlds and the are much less money with kyosho
close behind also a coulple mugens but i want to inform u all of this because the hyper 7 pro is the car where u get more car for ur money..... i can keep p with k3's and prospec mugens and plus the hyper 7 pro comes with a torsen differential witch alone is like 150 or more... and its very light because of all of the carbon fiber and milled aluminum braces

I have run the Hyper and the K car and the mugen. Honestly they are all good. But as always their are buts.

Hypers 7
Lots of maintence and if you build it stock from the book you will not finish allot of races. It requires allot of work and planning and extra parts and you never know what is going to fail next. When you finally get all the bugs worked out it is a great car.

Mugen
Does not handle as well as a c-hub car in the rough sections. It will turn inside of almost every buggy out their. Its is very durable and does not cost all that much from week to week to keep it in tip top shape

Kyosho (not 777)
Its simply the cream of the crop. It may not turn the fastest lap times but it is by far the easyiest to be conistent with. Parts wear quickly but once you know a few tricks it is easy to keep it tight and new. Breakage is not usually an issue if you break a K car you deserved to break it. The Kyosho shocks are by far the best shocks on the market.

Honestly it is a complete coin toss between the prospec and the new K car neither have proven themselves by winning the worlds. The car that won the world did have some prospec parts on it but not all of them.
