They're great! Some will point to performance charts, etc.. and maybe blues aren't on par high performance wise, but I own three, and they've been bullet proof, deliver solid performance, and can't be beat on price.

I've used them and they are good...they probably make all these batteries in the same place and then just put differant company stickers on them, lol

From what Ive gathered through reading several threads theres only a handful of places in the world that make lipo batteries. There's a few in China and the best cells are from Korea. From what Ive read at least.

Hobbyking.com and Hobbypartz.com both sell very cheap and effective lipos. Hobbyking sells Turnigy/Flightmaxx and Hobbypartz sells the Blue Lipos. I have at one point used both and they work great for the price.

+1 on that! Spent $90 on my first lipo! SMC 4100mAh 24c 2s hardcase, never again! Bought two Zippy red hardcase 4000mAh 25c 2s hardcases and couldnt tell the difference in punch, acceleration, speed or runtime. Actuallt the Zippy packs held over there rated capicity. 41?? it was. So..sold the SMC for $40 and bought two more!

They have worked good for me so far. I am running 30c 2650 blue lipos in my crawlers. I also have a Gens Ace 1550 in my RC18. Its a good cheap lipo as well.

Alot of Lipos are made in the very same factory. Most are ok but there are some cheap ones to watch out for out there..

I own 3 and a friend of mine has 2. All packs have been well used over the past year. No complaints at all, and for the price they can't be beat. Even if one of the packs were to go bad, the replacement costs are negligible compared to "Name brand" sticker-ed packs.

The price of the Blue LiPos compared to NiMH packs - can't be beat. I had to change the connectors from the stock bullet connects (no big deal),if you're using bullets then it's plug and play. So far, they balance fine - perform as expected, and IMO a better deal than current NiMh 7-cell packs.
