Default RC10GT black tub vs. blue alminum

i've noticed that alot of people seem to have the blue Chassis GT. what are the advantages of a blue chassis over the black tub chassis (which i have at the moment). from the looks to me, the blue chassis seems alittle more prone to bending and has more parts to lose. and from the looks to me, the mounting bolts for most parts (i've heard that the blue chassis has different engine mounts) are the same.

someone please clarify what makes the blue chassis superior to the black tub chassis that i currently have

The blue chassis is much more durable and LESS prone to bending. It is also a little bit longer. Their is a conversion kit you can get to convert over. Last time I saw one on ebay they were under $40 and well worth it. The tub chassis flexes so much that you wreck spur gears from time to time. The truck handles so much better with the blue chassis.

You do need to get a different motor mount. I think it also comes with the conversion kit that KINGZJ mentioned. It's well worth the money.

Yeah plastic tends to flex, my GT has the alum. also and it is super tough I have rolled and cartwheeled that thing at least 20 times and I only broke a rear bulkhead (Which is weak anywho, buy the RPM version)
