Usually only during a special promoted race venue, but nothing on a regular basis. SC is still very abundant.

I have to say that i hate this whole short course frenzy, its always a bashfest and never really any good racing. Id much rather see the trucks make a comeback.

Stadium truck is generally the biggest class at CRCRC in Columbus, OH followed closely by 2wd buggy. Both generally have 2 to 3 heats on Friday nights and Sunday races. SCT is still popular, but not nearly as popular as it was the past two years.

Ocrc is building a smaller 2nd off road track and word on the street is it will be for open wheel 10th scale buggies and stadium trucks to avoid the 8th scale and SC carnage. Glad that short course is keeping the lights on at the tracks but hope stadium truck and 4wd buggy make a big comeback. Can u say TLR T22 & 44... and AE T5 & B55?

At OCRC there's really only a few ST's running, so they run them in the 1/10 buggy classes. SC is huge and honestly, even though I don't run any of the SC classes, I can honestly say that I think SC is the most fun of all the classes to watch from a spectator's standpoint. My friend video'd in SUPER slow-mo in HD and it was amazing to see how realistic the trucks look bumping and jumping. Honestly, with the rise of SC, I don't see a place for ST. They're kind of looked as cheaters when run with buggy's or the SC's and there's not enough of them to run their own class. I know there's people who like them, but I think if you like open-wheel 10th scale 2wd racing, you might as well run the buggy since they're basically the same exact vehicle. If you want a truck, run SC. I kinda just wish they'd go away. No offense to those who enjoy them.

Out here in Illinois we have been managing a one heat class on our Saturday night races. It usually runs about 6-8 cars. SC cars have definetly taken over. This last week we had three heats of stock SC and 3 heats of mod SC. All heats had about 8 cars in them. It is sad to see since stadium trucks are what I started racing in but at the same time I really enjoy racing the SC.

Then you're watching the wrong Short Course races. Their are videos ALL OVER youtube they have some of the absolute best RC racing I'e ever seen. Coming from SC. You're honestly watching the wrong SC races if you think it is all bashing.

We run a Super Stock (13.5) Truck Class at the local track that always has a pretty decent following.

Nothing like the SC trucks though.

The up and coming class at our track oddly enough is 2WD buggy... They've been coming out of the woodwork as of late! I'm happy about it!

Here in Florida the Trucks are still hanging on( I sold my XXXT cr) we get one full class of 8-10 but the #'s drop... SCT took over and Dominates next biggest class is 2wd Buggy ( Some time its the biggest class) at our local 1/10 scale outdoor track! CSRCCC
