I thought the exact same thing when I saw that. My 1 year old Eco looks better and "nearly new" compared to that.

I would agree if you are to stick with your current setup and you race rules allow, you will want to stay above 5000mah for the size and closer to 6000mah even better. Try to stay also with a lipo with a 40c rating or higher for best results.

These are some lower priced options.

I do agree with you both in regaurds to the nearly new comment but come on it is just a bit of dirt and otherwise a solid deal for an awesome buggy if you are looking to save a few dollars. (Please note I do not know the seller) I know first hand how tough this buggy is and what it can withstand, so if I was looking to buy one and had a chance to save a few hundred then it is a no brainer and the dirt washes off

Either way good luck

There's a used one on fleabay for $500.00
Claims it has less than 1 hour on it and looks great in the photo.
Who knows, the seller may take an offer?

Thanks, I saw that as well. But If I am going to drop that kind of money I would want a new one.

I have never EVER broken a rear hub. Only thing that has ever happened to my rear hub was when one of my ceramic bearings (will not say what company) blew and it stripped out the hub.

it a as much about not breaking as it is about rigourously keeping the same suspension geometry under load...
