Yellows got to go. I was wondering if the Traxxas Bandit tires would fit the CRT. 5. Would the Front or Rears Bandit stock wheels/Tires fit? Or they both fit? They look 2.2 I just don't want any surprises.

Gonna get that wing in black too.

I'm running a 16t with 46 spur, with a 4000kv 550 motor on 2s. It hauls ass and keeps up with my buddies 1/8th buggy with a .21 6 port engine. My motor and esc dont get very hot, even after a full pack of messing around.

What are you using for a motor?

I put my Rustler front rims on mine and they fit fine. My car isn't built yet, I just wanted to see how the tires looked.

I have rustler rear wheels on mine. I have the extended RCM chassis, but it should fit on all chassis's. Short Course wheels/tires also work very well

Novak HV 7.5 Turn, 3000kv, with Mamba Max Pro ESC. i have the stock tune on the ESC. the 14t is just way too slow, even for my wife. i'll pick up a 16t and hope it gets the speed we're after. the motor temp is less than 100 degree's. so obviously it is not geared right. i have a 19t but i'm thinking that is a little much lol. i'm tryin to get this truck all ready for my wife to bash on this summer. it has to be fast, but no temp issue's. she likes to drive them not work on them hahaha!

Yeah i would try 16 first, 19 might be too much on 3s. I'm kinda surprised the 3000kv was slow on 3s at 14t.

Rustler Rear Wheels all around
Some Aluminum Bits

Dont mind the grass/dust, didnt have a chance to clean it after the last bashing session

Hey guys,

Been reading through the thread pages and everyones crt looks good. I just picked one up and should be arriving soon. I just can't make a final decision on a motor/esc combo. Ive been looking at the CC sidewinder sct combo, CC MMP SCT combo, and a 1/10 hobbywing combo. I would like to gear this truck for about 50mph and run on 3s, It will be more of a pavement surfer. I would also like to run 1/8 scale on road tires on the truck. Also wanted to keep this easy on the wallet, so the sidewinder combo looks good but will I be asking to much from it?

I have the mamba max pro with a BEC and a Novak motor. I'm not getting the speeds I want yet. Running 14/46 gearing. Maybe 25mph or so. But I think a 16t or 17t will give me the speeds I want. If it ever stops raining I might be able to try a bigger pinion. Only one day of no rain the whole month!

Guys, I suggest we give out more details on what we're running. Generic motor names w/o kV or voltage makes it hard to do comparison.

How about giving motor kV and voltage? Then we can do apples to apples comparison to pick the right pinion. Also, the tire diameter is important. Some are running stock rims, some have 2.2 truck, and some have even bigger.

And, can anyone confirm that internal ratio is 3.25?
