Default NovaLink...HELP!!

Guys,

Finally got the new Havoc Pro SC ESC/Ballistic 550 combo today for my SCRT10. I also got the NovaLink Programmer as well, but am having some issues with it. I have gotten the ESC calibrated properly. I also installed the NovaLink software per the manual. After carefully following the directions when I connect the USB cord to the ESC it does not register and shows as disconnected. Nothing I do will get it to link up. Anybody got any suggestions or run into something similar? Thanks.

Jim

Only suggestions I have...open Novalink, plug in usb to computer then plug in esc. Do you know if you have 1.1 or 1.3 esc firmware? There is a Novalink update also. Close everything and turn off any anti-virus or internet security you have and try it again.
I had a problem with Windows7 Ultimate 32bit with the esc not taking the proper info...went back to XP pro.

Jim, The Havoc line of esc's is not Nova-Link compatible. The only programming you can do is thru buttons on the esc. Sorry
