I already installed it but can't figure out how and where to put the on/off switch. Pics anybody.
Also wondering what gearing I should use? The stock slash comes with a 13 pinion/54 tooth. Should I go up a tooth on the pinion gear or down or just leave it at 13?
Another thing is that the hobby shop where I got it through in the castle link for free and I downloaded the software and started messing with the settings but what does "punch" do?
Thanks for the help.
You WON'T be disappointed with the Castle setup in the 4x4 Slash. It rips! I've been running 15/52 on 2s - fast & cool. I mounted the switch to the top of the radio box. I cut a piece of Velcro to fit the switch then stuck that to the top of the receiver box. Then I drilled two small holes on each side where the switch was mounted and ran a zip tie around the switch to secure it in place. Lastly, I sealed the holes with Shoe Goo to reseal the receiver box. I'll shoot a pic of it if you want.
