Default The Car from JQ products - Electric conversion

I was in contact with Mike from RC Monster a few weeks ago regarding making a conversion, or at least a mount for The Car.
He was positive about the idea and it all comes down to interest in the market, and that he can get hold of a kit to do the measurements.

I am a bit far away in Norway, but I am pretty sure that someone closer would like to help him out if needed

So chime in to show your interest!

There is a thread on his forum also: http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28402

Not to much interest here so far, but then again the kit has barley hit the streets!

In any case; my cnc machine is stowed away as of now, but when I have gotten settled in my new house sometime during the spring, I might just as well fire it up and do it my self

Ya there probably will be a conversion kit for it. It will be a while since the kit is still new.

I hope it will be sooner

I have been very pleased with my two RC-monster converted Xray 808's and even dough I have the equipment to do it my self, I am willing to spend money on a motor mount or kit to get my car ready for the start of the season.

I think elite RC and RC Monster should sell motor mounts for all new 1/8 buggies. Of course there is a wait, a lot of people are going brushless now, the market is exploding.

As soon a someone makes an engine mount, I will seriously look at getting a JQ buggy.

I cant say who is making it, but a full blown conversion for the JQ car is coming soon...

That being said, I have seen a home conversion using an AE motor mount, and the stock chassis with a 2x2S saddle pack setup...looked pretty damn good.

Tekno
Elite RC
RC Monster
Team Grid
or someone else?

Also curious on knowing how the car works and handles when running brushless? Compared to nitro...
