Recommend any of the top brands for performance and customer service (Tekin, LRP, Mamba, Novak)...pick your passion. All depends on what your primary objective will be, then guys on here can help point you in the right direction, to include budget, RC chassis platform, racing or bashing?

MMP would work well and its pretty inexpensive. Would work good with the Velineon motor.

I dont think you should even consider a sensored system. Some of the hardcore racers are still holing on to sensored setups like they did with Nimh batteries, but the future will be with sensorless setups in racing too. In my opinion it is a waste of money for a perceived advantage that is really not there any longer.

I suggest checking out the Hobbywing systems for your Rustler. They are proven to be just as fast and as durable as anything else on the market and they are very cheap.
