The Batt port on your receiver is only used if having to power your electronics with an external receiver battery pack. Please do not plug in your 2S pack to this slot, as it will probably destroy your receiver. If running an Electric Speed Controller (ESC) (Tekin, LRP, Novak, Mamba, or ready-to-run, etc.) the ESC will use your battery packs power to provide power to all your electronics being operated through your Receiver (Rx) with ESC plugged into it (motor port on Rx). I'd recommend going to your local Hobby shop and having them assist you in wiring and explaining how everything works. Hope this assists you and has you enjoying your RC vehicle soon!
