You need the whole center diff of an RC8e. I'm happy with the metal spur tho. I can live with the noise.

The noise it's not a problem, but I'd like to test a plastic spur as an alternative chanche...

So RC8e central diff will be a direct fit???

Not sure if it's a direct fit. But I know the Mugen drivers with a plastic spur are using the diff of an RC8. I'm sure you find it more information if you search for it on the forum.

Go to your LHS and hold a Kyosho/Losi/AE gear up to your Mugen diff, see if the holes line up. I've used a Kyosho plastic spur with AE internals inside a Losi diff housing in my Losi 8ight.

It will also be important to make sure the inner face height of the gear matches or the diff gear mesh could be off. Too loose can be shimmed, too tight and there could be problems.

hi there

teh asso rc8b3/rc8e /rc8t/rc8/sc8..thunder tiger st-1 center diff is a direct fit without any modifikations to the mugen diff

i drive it by my self. the plastic spur gear of asso is soooo durable, you dont need here spare..

the driving is wonderfull, it seems, the car is lighter when you see it driving without that ugly metal spur noise

I have a converted 808 and use a kyosho plastic spur gear with success. It holds up perfectly. I've no idea if there is any compatible plastic spur for the MBX6 though..

Morgoth -> see you soon

Get a tekno V4! More bang for the buck and better performance.

i cant see why people would drop that much on just a mount... for 50 more you are getting a ton... and you can sell your nitro stuff and that should pay for the tekno kit its self..
