Default Novak Havoc Pro - is no fan okay?

Hey all

Just curious if anyone out there knows if it's safe to run the Novak Havoc Pro ESC 2S model w/o the fan. I'm about to mount it in my B4.1 and it looks like it's going to be a really tight fit with the stock body. I've heard with the 3S model, the fan is optional if you run a 2S battery pack (looks like according to the diagram, the fan is required)

Will likely be running it with a 17.5 or a 13.5 brushless/sensored Ballistic motor

thanks in advance,

I run a 13.5 or 10.5 without a fan and haven't had any issues.
