Hey guys/gals, still wondering if there is any word on a shorter chassis not limited to mid motor? I have heard of a couple, but there for mid only as far as I can tell. Thanks

I believe they do. Worked just fine on cr and I'm using my spurs from my cr.

The hex for the pads on the AE spur is larger than the slipper plates on the 22 so if the pads are worn or compressed below the hex then the plates will touch the plastic on the spur's hex.
The popular conversion is to use all AE plates, spur and pads.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Personally I "stretched" the motor screw slots and squeezed in a 35 pinion with the stock 76 spur for a 17.5 no timing setup.
34 pinion will fit with the stock spur with no "love" needed on the motor screw slots.

The Akula graphite chassis kit is either mid or rear. i have one setup on rear motor.

The downside is the cost. $135 euro's or 220+ us. i have contacted SNR graphite about producing a similar product. you might want to email him and show your interest maybe he will consider it....

Pretty sure i saw an alloy one in a post on the oOple forums that was anodized black and 8 or 10mm shorter. Even if it's midmotor only I think you only have to drill and countersink two holes. Maybe four at the most. It's also a UK part so you'll get killed on the exchange and shipping. I was thinking about cutting one down and getting it TIGed back together.

AE makes a 78 spur. That's what I'm running on mine.

Also, call around your LHSs, one of them is bound to have the old Losi spur which is the exact same thing.

If you liked the 7.5 with a 22 tooth pinion, then try a 24 on the 9.5.

If you look at the New Products page of the TLR website a 70t Spur, black body clips, and wing washers have just recently been released. A 78t spur is available but may be on back order at the moment.
