I believe that chassis was only for the mid-engine build for Euro tracks.

You sure you want all of an 8.5 even though a lot of mod guys run 6.5 and 7.5? That stuff is crazy fast in 2w.
10.5 is the sweet spot for me in 2w mod although silly fast is always fun too.
I run 8.5 in 2w Short Course and that is stupid fun, wouldn't change it.
Won't be in the dirt this week Rex Racer, gonna be at the Tamiya Nats rockin the F1.
Now that's a stock class, they give you a motor and make you take it out each round then give it back and watch you put it in. You never get to F with it, not even a little bit.
Not sayin all stock should be like this but if you gotta have a slow car then make sure all of em are slow!
I know, F1 and slow in the same sentence right? At least it is a controlled spec class.

Hey guys, quick question. What kind of esc would you recommend? I have a Tekin RS Pro in my FT SC10 and wouldn't mind one in this buggy when I get it. But the RS Pro is just over the top as far as pricing. I was leaning towards just the regular RS but I want to see what you guys have to say. I'd like an esc that I can adjust timing, boost, turbo, etc.
Thanks
Eddy
PS: Plan to run with a D3 13.5
Thanks

I run an RS in my XXX-SCT and my 22. Works great We don't normally put massive motor in these 2wd cars so the regular RS works just fine. I have run boosted 17.5 as well as 10.5 in with no issue at all. No reason you could not go down to 8.5 or 7.5 as well. My ESC's never really even get warm. Pro would be recommended for TC or 4wd.

If you aren't running a low turn mod, and need to play with timing, the Tekin RS is the best speedo you can buy. If you plan on dropping down to 10.5 or lower turn mod motors, go with an LRP V2 as it's power delivery is smoother, and fine tuning timing advance isn't as important.
