The top shocks are plastic, designed for the SC RTR I believe, and aren't a very good "upgrade". They leak from what I have heard, and dont offer a distinct advantage from any OEM shock. The bottom look like 1/8 scale shocks, and even if you got them to fit, they wouldnt have soft enough action, as they are designed for a much heavier car..

Are the big bores that people are using for the SCR the same big bores as the RB5? Also does anyone know the shock lengths and what the inner dimensions are? I couldn't believe how smooth they were and was thinking about putting some on my Losi SCTE. My friend held them against my truck and they seemed like the shock length was similar if not the same, but then again, mine were mounted so it's hard to know for sure. If anyone has both an SCTE and the big bores, can you see if they'd fit alright?

oh one last thing, does anyone know the shock shaft diameter because I'd hate to use the shocks on a heavier truck and bend them too easily.

No, they are different, they have a set designed for the SCR and RT5, the buggy rears may be close to the Sc front, but the rear Sc shocks are longer than the buggy rears. Shafts are the same for the regular Kyosho shocks and Big bores.

The Jared Tebo setup uses reds all around, but I would have a pair of yellow fronts on standby just in case, thats what I got. I went with 6 hole stock pistons and 45 losi front and 37.5 losi rear oil's.

But I heard some people are usind losi 22 pistons...
