Im not sure what you mean,what do you suggest? You dont think grinding out the shale or extra aluminum will do the trick?

well, like i suggested in a previous post, cheap blue lock tight. I know the aluminum hexes you are talking about, an I know the little casting flange. grinding that down isn't going to be enough to gain you the distance you need to reach the nylon locking ring on the locknut.

Thanks for the post, Im still gonna do some grinding but after searching for parts in my yard Im gonna use loctite for an extra measure of protection. wish me luck

Default figured it out

Hey all
just an update,the problem with not being able to tighten the lugnut lies in the 12mm hex that goes over the axel stub,pin and outer bearing. The hex nut has a ridge on the wheel side that was putting pressure on the bearing. I filed it down smooth and its perfect. so there it is for everyone,as a newbie I have learned to now inspect all parts before trying them out.
