Default Novak 13.5 Brushless in Slash?

I have a Novak 13.5 brushless sitting around. I'd like to put it in my Slash instead of the Titan. Good choice? What spur/pinion should I run? Stock ones?

thanks for the advice in advance!

it will be faster than the stock motor.. but not overpowered.. should be good for practice at the track... most tracks abide by the roar 17.5 motor rule racing.. get good with the 13.5 and then lay the smack down with a 17.5 / stock when racing

13.5t is a great motor for short course. Isn't insanely powerful, but still has some kick. If you have an esc with boost you can get alot of top speed out of it.
