Gearing for a Losi truck

Whats a good starting point for a MMP and a 17.5 novak @ 18*? I have both the mf2 and the cr trans.

I do, although no experience with those electronics or a 17.5 motor. I would try to gear that pretty tall, though. What spur gear is on your truck?
