I think it would dump before the 5 mins is up. And if it doesn't I would think that you will be alot slower than guys running 3300's after a couple of mins

Stock racing is all about big number packs and quick motors

In offroad you can get by alittle easier with less than ideal packs that in onroad. Right now packs are pretty cheap, so I would just get a set of cheap matched GP3300s, usually the cheapest ones can be had for 30 bucks.

if zxracing still has them, they are blowing them out for 20 bucks a pack.

Hey Newb,
They are racing there this Sunday and there are usually a few kids there (ranging from about 11 upwards). Not sure about this week though as my brother and I aren't racing and YBakOffs' brother and nephew probably aren't either. Go along anyway though as they always run a 540 class and they guys are great to get along with.

I think you need to atleast pick up some 2400's. Your 1400's might make it through if theyare brand new, but other than that.... no way

Yep thats me. Numbers will be a little bit down, but they'll still run the meet anyway and they'll slot you into a class even if there aren't any Novices...(stock etc).

Nathan Sowter will be running the computer this weekend as Peter is down at ACT Titles...
