Call Pro-Line up, they should replace them. They know there's a problem, and I think newer Velo's have an update that should make them stronger. Time will tell...

On Savage-central they're already reporting that the updated 40 Velocity's still ahve the same problem....

They put a taper on the nut side from where it seats to the outer face...looking at the damaged wheels I've seen..it looks like they need to beef up the material thickness between the nut and the hex hub...

ya well count your chickens...me and another fellow racer always tq and run up front at our local club...we kinda push our trucks hard and we both broke them....i mean i flipped my truck and it pulled an end over end (huge) because i was at top speed when it flipped..... after that the hub was bent i tried to renforce itwith some ca so it might stay together but no dice it pulled the hub right through the rim
