Default Is this battery to much for my vintage blackfoot ?

looking for get a new battery today , the local hobby shop has 1800's , 3000's and radio shack has a 3300 battery.
would i fry my motor with the bigger battery ?

I have a vintage Tamiya Hi-Lux Monster Racer and have put in LiPos before and it worked fine. The ball diff might slip a bit, but it won't be bad if you don't just hammer down on the throttle.

ok , these are regular nihm batterys so i should be fine. is bigger really better ?

Any of them will be fine, the numbers you listed are capacity (run time) not output. Stay with a 7.2v 6 cell pack, which I assume all of these are.

sorry i guess the stock battery is a nicd battery. but yea these are all 6 cell batterys. the dude wasnt at the hobby shop , it was his wife and she said a bigger battery might fry my motor. ill go get the radioshack one thanks
