Default Novak Ballistic 550 in a Slash 4X4

I got a Novak Ballistic 550 for my Slash 4X4. I went to install it and the motor is longer than the stock one. The motor doesnt have clearance to fit in with the ESC in its stock location. Has anyone installed this motor in a Slash 4X4 and if so how did you do it. If anyone has any advise on how I can relocate the ESC your help would be appreciated.

Default

what i did was cut the mounting hole off of the right side of the esc.
the left side of the esc will screw into the hole that is just to the right of the stock left hole moving the entire esc about 1/2 inch to the right right up next to the receiver box then i cut a piece of randome plastic and put the screw from the left side of the receiver box through it and screwed it back in.that holds down the right side.it is a tight fit but it works
