How much driving time do YOU personally get out of a 5000Mah Lipo ?
Just wondering what to expect once I get up and running..
Right now I'm still waiting for my low voltage cut-off in the mail, so I'm only running for about 10-12 minutes to play it safe, as I really have no idea how long it should last.
also , list your setup , I'm sure that has an effect on battery life..
I'm running a 2s 7.4V 20C 5000Mah Lipo on a bone stock Hpi Blitz SC 1:10

Awsome, If I get 25 minutes I'll be happy, I have one 5000mah now, and two on the way, 1.5 hours of runtime ain't to shabby .. ..

I see a little over 20 min in a CC Mamba Pro 4600 w/2s 5250 (and that's with some serious bashing on a dirt track.)

So would a stock blitz make the battery last longer than a smaller brushless motor ? or is the brushless more efficient and would use less ?

With stock setup in my Slash 4x4, I am getting over 15 min. I haven't really timed it, but definitely enough for a race. Now with the 13.5, I'm hitting 20 mins. easy. Using an 11T pinion, as the 13T was getting the motor way hot.

Get a 2 cell or more voltage meter like this: http://www.xheli.com/26cevomewlcd.html
Run the truck at your track, check the voltage often, and stop when the lipo reaches 3.7-3.8v per cell.
Recharge. If you put back in more than 80% of the lipo capacity you need to shorten your run times.
Ideally you want to stop early and work towards putting back 80% rather than shortening run times.
80% of 5000 = 4000mah
80% of 4000 = 3200mah
80% of 3200 = 2560mah
I've always stayed around 60% and my packs last for a long time.
