HPI Blitz quick Gearing Q. 17x2 Motor
Hello RC Tech,
I have an HPI Blitz for my girlfriend that currently has the stock RTR motor with a Traxxas XL5 ESC. The motor finally quit so I have a 17x2 turn brushed motor for her to put in the Blitz. I know for a fact that the XL5 will work with the motor as i have used the same combo in my slash.
My question is what is a good gearing combo for the 17turn in the blitz? Just a good starting point at least? I really only have the stock Spur so anything with that would be fantastic. Its a medium sized track and I just want a nice basic gearing baseline for her. Thanks!

Hope this helps......It is for a Blitz. I woulkd keep it somewhere around the std(standard) setting.
Stock has a 15 turn, going to a 17t isnt THAT far off........
